I’ve had a really REALLY shitty week for lots of reasons & I’m drained as hell / pretty fragile BUT. But. the temperature where I live has dropped to 14c and it’s raining and I could cry I’m so happy. I hate summer. The two best bits of writing advice I could ever give are: 1) know how your story ends before you start writing it 2) for your very first draft, write it as poorly as you need to just to get it on to paper. doesn’t matter how shoddy, you can even make it bad on purpose to make yourself laugh.
