Our fight for wolves has a long history. For decades, Friends of Animals has pushed back against wolf control and weakened protections. With the Trump administration putting gray wolves and Mexican wolves under federal review again, that fight will continue if necessary.

Hunters have named the wolf they plan to target: 1090F, the 12-year-old matriarch. Research out of Denali: a pack that loses a parent to humans is 16x less likely to survive than one that loses a parent to nature. 1090F is that parent. (2/4)

Time is running out for Mollie's Pack. On Sept 15, Wyoming opens hunting in Wolf Hunt Area 1 with a quota of four wolves. The wolf family denning inside it is the last thread back to Yellowstone's 1995 reintroduction. (1/4)
