Ayaka Nakata directed, boarded, and co-painted the color script for Kusuriya's new opening. Not as striking as her S2 intro, but at its best it showcases her ability to sublimate core ideas of a series into OP imagery that will stick with you. Love the lavish animation by Odashi in cuts 3-4 here

Ramparts of Ice return was even more impactful than I'd hoped. They even got Akiyo Oohashi on the ED and it's simply immaculate, especially the latter half. Really liked how the episode itself upped the dramatic heaviness, it makes last cour's cliffhanger more quintessential as a marker of tone.

100 pulls 1 Wangsadel 1 SuiBro Atp I must have pissed off some otherworldly being. I mean it's great and all I've been able to get all the limiteds so far this year but it comes at the cost sunk fallacy of not being able to get the standard 6* Crying at no Pramanix and Chen 3

Just finished Vol 3 no breaks in-between so now I'm tired but will definitely see the movie once I have time. Once again awesome entry Ukai definitely perfected his craft here. Saying anything more would be spoilers so I'll refrain. But damn.

Truly one of the most beautifully directed yuri shows. Like, ever. Impressionable, layered characters interspersed with complex infatuations give each respective duo their own brand of specialness and allure. Woefully mature in bittersweet fashion, it's written with a panache you don't see nowadays

Executor Alter dupe on a single 10 pull so I'm calling it quits for now (for as much as I really want Titi) Anyways that wasn't even the best thing. I live and breathe gorgeous skins

Best birthday gift ever. No doubt my favorite episode out of the whole lot, I'm still feeling from the emotions. Like I'm at a loss for words (poor Gujo)

Kinda glad that for the next three or so months leading up to Kal'tsit Alter I have next to no interest in the other banners. They do not have the sauce I'm afraid. Maybe Zima but that's only because it looks like her story isn't finished and probably continues onto Ch 17

Good day to be a Gin-san fan. His boards for AWAJIMA were more subdued but still summarily strong on the whole thanks to his input while Kamiina Botan's episode was creatively him at its very core. They weren't lying when they said he was a hardcore SHAFT stan. It rocks.

Kamiina Botan's author Hey openly asked for an adaptation that takes distinct stylistic swings according to the lead artists every week, and episode #02 is undoubtedly Fugo's domain: solo key animation with no clean-up, unfiltered display of his body articulation to fuel the character acting

Official statements noted that the Witch Hat Atelier anime was, under Shirahama's supervision, expanding on the original work. And it hasn't been until the incredible third episode that we've really seen what they meant, with Coco's test being fleshed out & connected more firmly to her character arc

Just now finding out about the Shintarou Douge magical girl show. Premiere was decent, I liked some of the BG art and soothing pastel colors.
