(This is the first part of an in-depth overview and analysis of the “The Detective is Already Dead” anime series. It’s recommended that you’ve seen Season 1 of the anime or read Vols.1 & 2 of the novels before continuing.)

If anyone following me plans to watch Season 2 of The Detective is Already Dead, I wrote a chunky series of "reports" that go over the events of Season 1. If you lack time to rewatch S1/read the books, I hope it can serve as a refresher before the new season. balanime.neocities.org/TheDetective...

... leading to me obviously finding the negative stuff and it sticking out to me. I've never truly gotten used to it with time. Though I have learned to hold firm in my own opinions. If I like an anime, or anything else, I'll always earnestly express it. (It can feel lonely tho...)

Many of my favorite anime tend to not be particularly popular. It's something I've struggled with my whole life; shows I'm really into tend to get a lot of flack online for one reason or another. Part of it may just be self-fulfillment since I inevitably seek out opinions around the net...

20 years ago today, the final episode of the 2006 Higurashi no Naku Koro ni TV series aired. 📺 It was a pleasure celebrating the 20th anniversary of this anime that means so much to me with a six-month rewatch. 😌 Thank you, Higurashi! #higurashi #ひぐらしのなく頃に #ひぐらし

I'm glad that with the Switch 2 case design, publishers are realizing they can put real logos on the spines again.

My first reaction was "Not Shiny Days?!" But then I saw Inori in the image. So basically, it's still Shiny Days, but the title is changing back to Summer Days. 🧐
