Had a LOT of fun designing these Ivy and Harley costumes for Poison Ivy in Briarwood (coming out this November of DC Go!) #art 🌹✨

I haven’t been able to update my comic on tapas for ages because of all the updates and rewrites I’ve put it through - but I’m so sad Tapas is dying! It was easily the best platform to upload to, the most intuitive to use. This sucks for so many creators and comic-readers.

Jo is a very tall (6'/183cm), fat, brown skinned aasimar woman with a hooked nose and deep set eyes. She's wearing a lovely gold, orange, and purple gown and shall, adorned with sunrises and butterfly motifs. She wears a gold nose ring, and heavy gold earrings with chains that connect to a broach holding her hair long, wavy, dark-brown hair back. Around her head is a glowing ring of light.

Lou is a short (5'/152cm), curvy, dark skinned tiefling woman with a pair of crescent horns on each side of her head with tan tips. Her gold irises are set into black eyes, and her black hair is styled tight to her head with curls around her crowns and cheekbones. She's wearing a blue and silver decorated rococo waistcoat with tails and a silver rapier with dark pants and knee-high boots.

The pair are holding each other close, locked in step while dancing. Lou is looking up at her dance partner with a wide smile, showing off her apple cheekbones, while Jo looks down at Lou with adoration. They've only just met and they have no idea how in love they are, or how it will destroy them.

Narration: Before the testosterone, however, there was long-distance backpacking.

We now join Ripley alone in the mountainous wilderness, just him, his backpack, his walking sticks, and elegant, rolling plumes of his scent wafting off of him.

Narration: My body is the only thing that carries me across rivers and over mountains... how could I hate the byproduct of such badassery? My smell infuses everything I carry. Permeating not just my clothes, but everything that keeps me happy, healthy and safe. My odor became something to earn by surviving another adventure. Something to celebrate."

Back on the porch, Eivor chimes in affectionately, "Something for me to celebrate when you get home, too."

I think the biggest upset I’ve had into my adult life is the loss of energy to engage with what I love. Especially art. I know this isn’t just me getting older but also the result of me being sick, but nothing makes me feel worse than looking back on how much I use to do DAILY compared to now.
