How much has your process for “writing code” changed in the last 12 months?

I’ve been seriously thinking about switching phparser.com over to #WASM, purely on the basis that I know NOTHING about it. Spinning up docker containers in job classes and then feeding back to the front end using #Laravel Reverb has been way more performant than expected. #php

I’ve been quiet on here, mostly been tinkering with Arduino and 3D printing to make sim racing gadgets like this.

Pretty happy with the first pass of Shale, just need to build on the AWS Bedrock concepts a little more, however adding additional models is really easy now. github.com/shale-php/sh... #Laravel #AI

Created 85 slides to convince people that testing is worth doing in a talk I am giving in a few weeks. Kinda hope it's enough, it should be ... probably ...

If you use a spell checker all the time does it mean you’re no longer learning new spellings since you don’t internalise the correction?

I introduced someone to the service container in Laravel along with service providers today, they were blown away. Reminded me of how I felt when I learnt about those things for the first time.

Yesterday I was building a tool in Laravel for handling packets / UDP to decode data from Lorawan devices, was interesting to go a bit lower level in PHP. socket_recv() socket_create() etc

About halfway through writing a blog post about PHP generators, and LazyCollections in Laravel. I’ve not written much until recently, feels good to be writing again.
