Three hogs brought in & weighed, all around the same weight so suspect it's the 3 smaller babies. I reckon Tilly is a good 100g+ heavier than them. So back to waiting for her. I think I'll wait til all four of them are there together, else I'll be bringing duplicate hogs in & re-weighing them 😬

They know me, but being wild animals, they would rather not know me. As long as I keep providing & stay out of their way they will tolerate me 😂. The eldest male (3) tolerates me better, doesn't want me to come near him but when I do have to he's not that bothered. Sticks his nose out for a nosy 😄

I'm so sorry, that's a disgraceful thing to do. She made herself part of his abuser circle, I hope you've managed to go no contact. It took me a long time to go no contact with my family but I've had more peace in my life since I did. I only talk to a SIL now.

I think adolescence is the time to be an arse, it's a learning process. It's the ones who never grow out of it that are the problem.

Absolutely same sex friendships should be a thing. It is difficult with teens though, with all those hormones & big emotions for both sexes. I've always had male friends, from primary school through to today, it's a healthy way to see different perspectives.

When I say different fabric, I don't mean the same fabric as the photo I put up. Nothing as heavy as that, but something with a little more body.

It's a slippery slope isn't it 😄. I think it's the fabric that draws me to it. The M&S one would work better for me in a different fabric. Not a fan of that "suit fabric" thing, even in suits. (my life long thing about fabrics does make me wonder about autism in myself 😄)

My FIL's observation from working in a lower income school, was that a lot of their boys were being raised by single mothers. The mother's had the sole task of guiding/disciplining the boys which led to the kids resenting their mothers. This can happen in two parent households too with too many men

We also need to teach boys to be less aggressively competitive. I'm not sure out to articulate it successfully but I feel that it can lead them to dehumanise girls as a "prize". That the value in in how you play, not what you win. All kids need to be taught more self value in order to value others.

My FIL was a teacher in an all boys school for 39yrs. He was saying recently that the misogyny starts young. He retired about 13yrs ago, so we're talking before this more recent division of the sexes campaign. He said the male teachers all recognised how they got natural respect from the boys,

My nephew invited my abuser to his wedding, acknowledging to his father that I probably wouldn't go. All to often we're forced to absorb the misogyny & dismissiveness within our own families. I know other women with similar experiences. Too many women.

Nope, it took me almost 15yrs of switching mechanics to find somewhere that didn't gouge or patronise me. It's quite normal for women to want to avoid dealing with all men when they've had enough of the predatory behaviour of far too many men. Whether that upsets men like you or not.

The answer to sexism isn't to gaslight women on their lived experiences, or detract the conversation to centre yourself and your tummy feels.

It's horrendous. My stepdaughter was being harassed by a guy in his 30s on the bus when she was 16. Her dad was worried he would be a regular on the bus so I said I would be sitting two seats behind her if that was the case. The rage we're forced to carry because of this is a disgrace.

It's not a debate. It's just you choosing your fragile feelings over accepting that women are subjected to many forms of misogyny that you don't, or most likely don't want, to recognise.

I'm 5'1" now so you can imagine how small I was in 1st yr, but still they beeped their horns at me as I stood by a main road. I've lost count of the number of times I've been assaulted over the years by different men, known and strangers.

Too young to remember when it started but it was there throughout my life with different men, including blood relatives. Plus one female teacher who worked at our school who was arrested a few years ago. I didn't start getting the bus until 1st yr & waiting at the stop was constant horns beeping.

Mine was a bad cunt. From an early age I hoped it would come out that I was in fact the product of an affair between my mother and my father's foster brother. Still do tbf.
