I do not find it particularly helpful to respond to layoffs by saying really good things can come from adversity. Unless you are explicitly offering said good thing, maybe clamp down on that. Everyone knows that theoretical things might happen maybe. This is not really helpful.

People gush about Brandon Sanderson, and particularly his ability to just work. Dude is a machine. He's not my thing, but I respect the craft and work. Adrian Tchaikovsky is not spoken of as often, I feel, and honestly should be. He is absurdly prolific and at such high quality and range.

Zero Company's overwatch is either confusing or bugged. I've had enemies just straight up stroll through them no problem without it triggering. Basic Battle Droids, no special abilities. Trots through with not a care in the world and Kabb just lets 'em through even though he has shots remaining.

Zero Company is rad, but the PS5 version is rough. Constant texture and model pop-in. Bizarrely low res shadows. Janky cameras, especially as reinforcements arrive. Units teleporting instead of pathfinding sometimes. And now the game froze 3/4 through a mission. Cooooooool.

Tim Curry movies were a staple in my house when I was growing up in the '80s and '90s. My mom loved him. I remember when Rocky Horror came to VHS and she was so excited she could share it. She passed away four years ago, but I am truly glad she could take comfort in his art until the end. RIP.

There is a bizarre, persistent belief by hiring managers that you must have experience in their specific game or precise genre in order to do your job. This is wrong, and stupid. I hadn't created progression systems for a FPS before Black Ops 4. You know, a high profile game. Worked out fine.
