Bad Dad Adam @baddadadam.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I'd rented a good number of the series' tapes from my local comic shop, but really fell in love with the animation and music from this film, made it mine. $20, maybe 1993? 110

Bad Dad Adam @baddadadam.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Roger Rabbit took place in 1947. There were examples of animation from Japan, but not what you’d typically consider anime. Astro Boy wouldn’t show up until the 60s in animated form, assuming they’d come to Hollywood for work. But it’s the internet, so I’m sure examples exist. 011

Tetris honestly just doesn’t work on a touchscreen for me, unless you make some big changes to it. These was one called Dream of Pixels that was more of taking negative space from a block, with Tetris shapes and rules. 121

Bad Dad Adam @baddadadam.bsky.social · 20/08/2025Not really. I’ve revisited the game twice after originally playing, and never completed it again, so maybe that’s a mark against it? I can also imagine if you’re into speed running it can be seen as a slog. The mood it sets is well suited for quiet backtracking too. 010
