Most of the guys that look too good for the level + right age for an EPL to pluck them from that low in the pyramid are guys on loan from EPL clubs. Like Louie Copley, Michael Olakigbe.

I like Iraola. The 2 year deal is only the surprise. Great for Liverpool of course as it feels a bit like... we would like to give it a year to see how you do here before really committing to you being here. Iraola believes in himself so has no problem with that agreement clearly. We have the

Can't wait to see how hard FIFA come down on FIFA for breaking FIFA guidelines of access to drinking water. Profit before people - the Infantino directive. Cunt.

I like Ngumoha starting. Very good. Very nice. But does it have to be with Gakpo as 9. We did this also against Spurs (Rio - Gakpo - Frimpong). Wolves in the cup (Rio - Gakpo - Salah) He had Chiesa as 9 when we got battered by Palace in the Cocainebro Cup. Not sure what to make of that midfield

Could be worse. He could have lucked out a result with it with a similar performance then ran with it until the end of the year with dogshit football and not creating any chances

Oh we can. And did :D But yeah, numbers are almost as brutal as watching us at the moment. I say almost because I don't remember us having 26% of the ball and 3 shots. And I think 2.2 is very generous in what was against us. I feel like Mama made a string of saves, they hit the post, could do

All competitions should be won/lost by a combination of the federation's quality of a legal representation, their financial resources and their ability to lobby/pay competition officials. Otherwise, it is really just about a bunch of guys kicking a ball....and that sounds silly.

Turns out cryarsing about every decision DOES have an impact. It makes referees lean your way on every call because subconsciously they know if they give a call against you - even if its right - they will cry bloody murder.

Today's question of the day. Why is robbo, off balance, trying to head the ball into the space in front of the CBs? He fucked it, and they scored. But even if he gets it right, who was the ball even going to? At best, it looks like he is trying to head to Solanke?

Rio still looks an amazing talent The biggest thing he needs to learn now is when to NOT run the ball. Here for example, with the right passes we likely end up 4v4 or 3v3. Instead he carries into the middle of the pitch, gets turned facing his own goal - passes back and WW have 9 men behind the ball

Article superbly highlights a lot of the problems I am encountering with AI. Its primary aim doesn't seem to be accuracy but a desire to please. But also, it adds hype and exaggeration as it learns to mimic language that influencers use and states everything as absolute fact with 100% conviction.

Allan starts for Palmeiras v Sao Paulo in about 30 minutes in the Paulistão semi final. Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque is worth a watch. Also 21. 16 in Brasileirão last year. 4 in his last 4 games. Turned down an offer from the gulf states last year apparently. www.espn.com.br/futebol/palm...

Really starting to enjoy Kerkez's performances. He looks like a superb signing who could nail down the LB spot for the next 8-10 years. Are you shocked that a 21 year old moving to Liverpool had a few iffy games at the start here? I'm even more shocked how many were keen to write him off.

The 'sources' in Brazil seem to be fan-owned/ran sites. It is similar to how I view this for EPL clubs - often overstated. Guestimating. Exaggerating for engagement. Sometimes they will be on the mark with things and there could be a nugget of truth (we contacted them?).

VAR has become a bulletproof cloak that PGMOL have wrapped themselves in. We wanted VAR because PGMOL are dogshit. Predictable, giving shit people a new tool produces shit results. PGMOL implemented it in the most dogshit way. VAR took the flak, not them.

Milos Kerkez great tonight. And has been for some time. Just needed time to adapt to new club, patience given poor form of team he was coming into and for Slot to stop inverting and letting him play his natural game. All coming together now. And just wait until Gakpo starts regularly passing to him.

That is the most stupid outcome of that sequence. So a red card offence outside the box 20m from the ball can nullify a team scoring a goal against you. Imagine for a second that was the winning goal of a game. A cup final.

Love Beasley. Recommend following him for anybody into LFC or data in general. I will say from a recruitment POV, we will look at whether a CB has played in whatever system the coach plans to use then make a point of assessing him in that specific situation. But we also wouldn't overlook a CB who

I pencilled in this year as transition year + Jota fallout = whatever happens, we have to not throw the baby out with the bathwater and give the coach time to get through a difficult year. What I didn't factor in was how much criticism he would take, how many would shit on him, how that would

Tbh I thought Gordon should have been off. Ali was a straight red lunge - same he did to VVD previously. Or a booking for chopping Macca in the neck and off for two yellows. You can really tell he learned how to tackle at Everton - its like watching Richarlison v Thiago all over again

Btw I think Hughes has taken a lot of shit but in Ekitike and Wirtz I think they've secured two absolutely elite players who will be with us (hopefully) for the next 7+ years at a peak level. That is huge. I still think Kerkez & Leoni will be massive wins for us also.

I'm a bit behind as usual as I am working on some thing. Ekitike just made it 2-1 here for me and I wanted to say that is the most Romario goal I have seen. That little early toe poke that a keeper isn't expecting. The whole thing also reminded me of Torres vs Chelsea too ofc

I also hate that we are potentially in a situation now where Gomez is first choice RB. First choice CB. Endo is the first backup in BOTH positions. Or... we move Gravenberch out of midfield dispite midfield looking quite light when we do so. And I already felt we needed another midfielder this year

Every manager takes stock of where a club is at when they come in - and then what it achieves while there. Which means any time Slot tries to demonstrate that he has moved things forward, achieved things, has done a good job (in the face of criticism) it can be interpreted as criticism of Klopp.

I'll explain what bothers me about Guehi. I always viewed him as a depth CB here. Depth that we actually need but not something I would pay a premium for. Being home grown likely increases his value to us. But he feels like neither a long term replacement for Konate or VVD. Unlike Leoni that I very
