I spent most of my free time tonight figuring out what pattern I wanted to do on my hat. I settled on a repeating triptych and have the first 9 rows done. Only 771 to go!

The school district we had in TX had free lunches for the whole district, but only because a movie star grew up in the town and was extremely generous towards the youth. If it wasn't for him, the policy is to mark the child with a stamp saying "NO FUNDS" and give them a plain PB&J and milk.

I think it's really funny and sad that dudes I went to college with openly hate me and still pretend to be friendly. I asked for recommendations for grocery stores and this guy was like "For you? <Extremely discounted grocery store>." and knowing him, he thought he was being real slick and clever.
