No rest for the wicked! I’m on tip run number 4. Which doesn’t sound that impressive. Though it is all from the attic so there are quite a lot of stairs involved.

I have officially reached the age when I think at least 1 in 2 of the technical blogs I read are just wrong. I am now the jaded engineer that I met when I was first starting out.

I was banished to the spare room some years ago. Apparently there are industrial logging machines that are quieter than my snoring. The cat doesn’t seem to care. Though she snores herself sometimes.

I’m not even sure most of the games still exist. Though I still have the original Elite floppy disks somewhere. Actual 5 1/4 inch floppy disks.

My cat lies down on my phone all the time. She’s figured out there are more fusses to be had if it isn’t in my hand. Have had to ring it a few times to then find it under the sleeping cat.

Here's today's column on the astonishing, ongoing mistreatment of people with #ME/CFS. Please spread it far and wide: the only thing which can break the media's wall of indifference is seeing an article about the issue go viral. Thank you. 1/2 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way ME sufferers have been betrayed | George Monbiot
Changes in guidance and science seem to have little impact on millions of devastated lives. It’s a social crisis playing out behind closed doors, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Make the companies, the directors, the employees and the shareholders personally liable / responsible for any damage caused. They’ll be a lot more careful about what they build. I would also point out this is just software. It’s all just software and math. Much like Meta etc.
