I've been on the hunt for a kei truck locally for about a year. My only requirements are AWD w/ an automatic gearbox. I want a small, safe, economical pickup. As someone that's been inside a M3A1 Stuart light tank, I can confirm that's got better pedestrian sight-lines than today's pickups.

Exactly! They're vanity-breeding the pickups for aesthetics instead of functionality! I want a truck to do "Truck Stuff" - I don't want to carry around a step stool just to open the tail gate or need 360° cameras to make sure I'm not unknowingly driving over anything up to the size of a baby moose.

I'd rather have one than an American-style pickup. They are more capable, easier to use, and sized for vertically-challenged possums like myself. I saw a pickup at the pharmacy this morning that I was eye to hood-line with! There's no way I could use that for real truck stuff, it was HUGE!

Past 18 months I've been complaining to my PCP about worsening balance, passing out after bending over, horrible clumsiness, and random leg numbness. It's heavily affecting my quality of life and my mental health. I've been a full-time cane user since Feb. Labs? Severe iron-deficient anemia.

In my youth my doctors said all my problems were due to my weight. Fine, I had RNY in 2018 at 375#. My lowest was 190#, I'm now ~215#. I'd say that's a significant improvement! Still have all the joint pain & health problems tho... 🥲 Saw more specialists, only to hear "pt is still overweight"🤦

Oh yay... Submitted refill #4 of my gender juice yesterday and this morning I got hit with a "your prior auth expired on May 6" email. 🙃 The last time this happened I had to go almost a month without shots while both sides figured out paperwork.

Called the scheduling dept, the PCP's soonest opening is June 2nd so I took that. Insurance doesn't cover the local urgent care, but they do have MDLive! A quick *free* video visit & an Rx for 5-days of lasix to see if I get any relief. If I do, the Dr agreed to extend the Rx until my PCP appt. 🧑‍⚕️🙏

I *literally* cannot get any of my shoes. I can feel the fluid in my feet wobble when I try to walk. Bending my ankles is agony and makes my feet go numb. But sure, I'll wait TWO GODDAMNED MONTHS MORE because a CRNP thinks it's acceptable for me to continue suffering and being basically immobile.

My feet/ankles have been swollen to grapefruit size for 3 weeks, none of my shoes fit. I've run out of at-home remedies that don't cause POTS flares. Messaged my PCP, a CRNP replies "make an appointment". I'm already scheduled for July 28th and I'm on the wait list... CRNP replies "see you then!" 😲
