These dainty little Aster blooms have been gifting me so much joy since their petals began unfurling a few days ago 🥰 They looked particularly beautiful this morning, cloaked in a fine mist of tiny water droplets, with their colour popping so vibrantly beneath an overcast, grey sky ❤️ #DailyNature

The Comfrey has enjoyed a little revival along our local riverbank, as this bountiful plant gives one final flourish before the season's end 🥰 They added a wonderful splash of colour to our wander today & are proving a welcome source of pollen & nectar for the Bumblebees too 🐝❤️ #WildflowerHour

Surprised to spot a tiny Robin's Pincushion Gall on Creeping Cinquefoil. Research led me to discover Cinquefoils are a member of the Rose family, but I can't find anything about this gall being present on this species. @bsbibotany.bsky.social - is this common, or is it fairly unusual? #WildflowerID
