I am impressed at the developments in Mathematics, and industrial espionage. I've seen dooming and hope in pretty equal measures. One of the interesting conjectures is that could these results be duplicated by humans for less if we funded math departments like we do the "AI" companies.

Went to about six antique malls downstate yesterday. After going to estate sales all spring and summer it’s a trip, everything has been dusted! Everything is more expensive. Did find some nice small boxes. Gunna have to make the hike someday to do estate sales down there.

Cannot begin to imagine how this end up being written about in a century or two. What will the narrative histories of this era look like. Bias in primary sources has always been a thing but the notion that this era was populated by heros and villains will be hard to shake.

Been going to estate sales, some of the houses have been abandoned for too long and my asthma can’t handle it, need to bring the n95 masks more often. Some nice old furniture locked up in houses down-state. Still some very forgotten corners of Delaware out there, getting smaller all the time.
