Early 2025. Setting up my new cubicle at the Hospital to make it my own. I was one of 15 people out of 50ish who physically arrived to work. Kind and courteous people, everyone. Despite the pay I'd still do it again.

Late 2025. Multiple deer jump in front of me in the dead of night. Rural county. Flip car three times after attempting to miss them. Wake up tasting blood with police dragging me out my driver-side window. Later, arrive to the junkyard to verify information before scrapping. Find two pieces of arte in what's left of my things. Hang them on the door as the final gesture towards that phase in my life.

Recently I realized that one of my fav birds since childhood is the Eurasian Jay, I've always liked them and my bf now associates them to me, so I think I'll take that as my sign. There was a period on Furnation and VCL where you could just post and view art peacefully, and anthros were just part of Sci-Fi and Fantasy... Then SA took what we'd now call cringe personal sites of either challenged or troubled individuals and did everything they could to destroy them.
