Rukia is an absolute badass, she's one of my favorite shounen leads.

The manga for sure, Studio Pierrot changed so much. Though I do recommend the Thousand Year Blood War anime adaption over the manga arc, it's been very faithful and added what Kubo wanted to originally do at the end of his run.

It's an absolute nightmare! if you look into it, this actually happened with Naruto as well, with Studio Pierrot, the same studio who did Bleach. They made Sakura more annoying, changed her scenes; in turn, in Bleach, they ship-teased Rukia with Ichigo and deleted or changed Orihime's scenes.

People are of course allowed to draw their own interpretations from the work, but when the well is poisoned, it's fair for an author to defend their creative decisions. That's all I have to say, anyhow.

a very fat cat @averyfatcat.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

I feel it's appropriate here due to the lengths the anime directors went to in order to promote Rukia's relationship with Ichigo, which was not Kubo's original intent in his manga. The fans therefore said they 'knew' better than him, despite his original intentions being far from it.

a very fat cat @averyfatcat.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

people genuinely went insane and hated him and attacked him because they felt he was wrong and that rukia and ichigo should have been together. they questioned his own creative process and choices and told him it was wrong. that's why he's so firm here about it.

i am normally a lurker but just so you know, this message from him was in response to fans harassing him about ichigo and rukia not being the ship at the end of the series. this wasn't in response to critique of a plot point or plot choice, just... the fact that ichigo married orihime. that's it lol

My two transmog tastes.

An image of a dark ranger night elf player character standing next to a nightborne player character, both looking at the viewer as they pose casually in very different transmog appearances. The night elf is wearing the black and red version of the Lurking Specter’s Visage rogue set without the helm, featuring dark leather with jagged spikes on the wrists and shoulders, and glowing red trim throughout. The nightborne is wearing the Love Witch set from the Trading Post without the hat, featuring white and pink fabric with heart designs and gold trim. The mountains and sky of the Isle of Dorn fill the background.

this is how it goes in my head every time i post an art for you all to enjoy -- #ctangleart #art #OCsky #objecthead #comic

a comic where a generic bluesky user hears a rustling from their pocket. they say, "is it that time again?" and take a tiny version of me out of their pocket. they say "what have you got for me today, charlotte?" and i excitedly hand them a crumpled piece of paper. they open it and it's a scribble of two men kissing with their dicks out labelled MY OCs. the bluesky user says "haha nice" and i give a little thumbs up
