about youtube raising the minimum shorts view/public watch hour requirement for YPP, yes its a bar risen, yes the path to monetization is now longer in detriment to small channels.. but as someone who has grown 2 channels to the monetization eligiblity threshold now its honestly not smth i rlly mind

You may have seen apps built with Electron or Microsoft Edge WebView2. But... have you seen an app that's just entirely based off the Microsoft Edge Chromium web browser? That's some crazy work lol.

the year is 2026. a majority of google's apps have had Material You icons for a while now Google Translate still doesnt have one...

a folder of google apps, inside which are Google Maps, News, Drive, Translate, Gmail, Authenticator, Play Store, YouTube, Chrome, Google.

Translate's icon is blue and gray, non-Material You, the rest are Material You icons (this blue shade and black)

when instructions dont match reality

In the left, Step 3 of GitHub's "checkout via the command line" instructions tells to run "git merge mdelta_N" ("mdelta_N" being the name of the base branch in this context). In the right is a partial terminal log, where it indicates I switched to a new branch "kayaurora" that tracks "origin/kayaurora", from which I wanna merge changes into mdelta_N.

Trying to merge into mdelta_N, Git outputs "mdelta_N - not something we can merge
Did you mean this? origin/mdelta_N"

Basically the correct command is not what GitHub's own instructions say, but what Git's output actually says.
