A game idea has been plaguing my mind for months now, but I have hardly any gamedev experience, so here’s a silly start to a platformer for my first #screenshotsaturday I suppose

So, I've been hit with notices of overdue student loan repayments for loans in my name that my family and I missed in our bookkeeping and I am at risk of defaulting on, on top of my normal monthly costs. #mutualaid Any little bit helps and just sharing is appreciated ko-fi.com/professorbur...

I need this energy going forward because it’s so hard for me to stay positive about anything art related at my current age.🥲

Four panel comic. Are you sleeping? Yes, now shut up… Tolkien didn’t start LotR until he was 45, you’re doing just fine….

Sometimes it’s really tough to prioritize what content to make, and I hate feeling like I’m making a “wrong” decision in those moments. Theres so much I want to do and not nearly enough time to do it all. Sheesh.

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

I’m excited to announce a collab with SM64 expert @jaquarium.bsky.social THIS FRIDAY, 8/14 during the JOB-A-THON! Expect a healthy dose of Celeste and SM64 gameplay (whether it’ll be good gameplay or not… different story)

I’ve FINALLY BEATen my very first Red Grandmaster map in Celeste. I never saw myself beating a GM map, and coming out on top after 25 hours without save states feels unreal. I’m so glad I set out to do this, and I appreciate all the support that got us here BUT WE’RE STILL LIVE RUNNING THE JOBATHON

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Aaaaaaand they haven’t showed up yet 🙄 gotta delay stream until they get here, hopefully can start in the next 1-2 hours

010

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Stream delayed to 1pm EST today because I have to fight my ISP, let’s see what excuse they give me this time

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

We have finally hit our 2nd milestone!! The support has been phenomenal, and my cats are very happy for me. Or maybe they're just happy I feed them earlier... anyway, Day 16 incoming

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

We're LIVE on Day 14 of the Job-A-Thon, refreshed and sweating in the heat yay

Had to make today a half-day stream, lots of tasks and streaming many days in a row gave me a burnout scare. On the bright side, I’ve started to make video game. Barely, but we’ll see what comes of it Back on it tomorrow morning at 9am

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

If you ever wondered what a Red Grandmaster map looks like in Celeste… yeeeeeeea. That one room took about 4 hours and I’m nowhere near the end. Guess I gotta finish it this upcoming week lol

AverageImposter @averageimposter.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

It’s time to take on a Red GM map for hitting the first milestone! As a mostly vanilla Celeste player, this should be interesting. Check out what happens at 9am EST! twitch.tv/averageimposter

Post SGDQ blues hit really, really hard. Every single year. And it’s a reminder of why I keep coming back. The cause it supports and the friends who are here and all the experiences become so overwhelming that their absence is extremely palpable. Thank you to everyone who makes SGDQ what it is ❤️

SO while I’m looking forward to whatever TODOs you have in store for me, I gotta make sure we don’t get a little too ridiculous during the JOB-A-THON In order to make sure your TODOs can be properly executed, check out this doc! It’s got all the info you’ll need docs.google.com/document/d/1...
