One of the reasons why I wish more people played & discussed Wuxia RPGs is because of how different some are structurally. People are so used to linear stories + BioWare-like choices that they struggle to grasp games like "Tale of Wuxia" or "Hero's Adventure" offering a route-based story like this:

Recettear is featured in the CRPG Book because of the work Andrew Dice & Carpe Fulgur did - they were pioneers in bringing Japanese games to Steam, way back in 2010. Many Japanese developers only took interest in Steam after seeing a doujin game like Recettear selling over 300k units. Rest in Peace
