For me, this book didn't feel particularly revelatory because it's just common sense. Infinite growth is impossible on a finite planet, and measuring economic stability with a single metric (GDP) completely flattens and obstructs reality. @matthiasschmelzer.bsky.social @avansi.bsky.social #climate

The book was on the New Books shelf at Ann Arbor’s district library. Just finishing the introduction and already I see the connections behind Trump/Musk actions in such stark focus - from gentrification, nearly complete over-class, minerals mining in Greenland! Ukraine! The world’s oceans! The moon!
