"In other words, the people who are the most 'polarized' in the U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who oppose racists and sexists."
Screenshot of article which reads: These numbers are relatively similar between Democrats and Repub-
licans, which often leads political pundits to claim this is more evidence
of “polarization,” and that both sides are equally to blame. However,
a closer look tells a more interesting story. The people who are most
likely to vilify and dehumanize their partisan opponents are Republicans
who are high in racism and sexism and Democrats who oppose racism
and sexism. The people who are least likely to vilify and dehumanize
their political opponents are Republicans who are low in racism and sex-
ism. One explanation for these patterns is that those Republicans who
are racist and sexist vilify and dehumanize Democrats because they see
the Democratic Party as a party of racial minorities and women; and
Democrats who score low in racism and sexism will vilify and dehu-
manize Republicans because they consider Republicans to be racist and
sexist. In other words, the people who are the most “polarized” in the
U.S. electorate are those who are racist and sexist, and those who op-
pose racists and sexists.

Crisis Prevention by Design
Community
• Background
Autistic people, particularty Black and Brown youth, face disproportionate risk during behavioral and mental health crises. Many high-risk moments begin at home, where caregivers often lack structured tools, training, and culturally responsive support. Tradtional crisis response models focus primarily on training law enforcement, leaving families, who are usualy the first responders. without adequate preparation. The consequences of this gap can be severe, and in some cases.
• Objectives
The Color of Autism Foundation, a minority-led nonproft organization serving underserved communities, developed Crisis Ready to shift the model from reactive crisis management toward Intentional prevention. The program's objectives are to strengthen caregiver confidence, reduce escalation within the home, and increase preparedness for high-stress situations, postioning families as designers of safety within their own environments.
• The Crisis Ready Model
Crisis Ready is a five-week hybrid crisis prevention and de escalation program for caregivers, self advocates, and extended famiy members. no curculum addresses anity, sensory differences, communication dierencos, traum exposure, and environmental stressors. HHS wants to relax regulations on human subject research (The Common Rule). For example, they want to redefine “undue influence” on vulnerable human research subjects (children, prisoners, disabled, culturally disadvantaged). 1/
From the federal register: The foundational framework for human subjects protection in the United States was established by the National Research Act of 1974 in response to widespread public concern over unethical biomedical and behavioral research practices. Following its passage, the then-Department of Health, Education, and Welfare issued the first version of 45 CFR part 46. These regulations established institutional review boards (IRBs) as the key mechanism for oversight and ethical review of human subjects research. While these protections remain vital, the current regulatory framework no longer reflects the realities of modern research.
In 1991 the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects, known as the Common Rule, was formally adopted by HHS and 15 other federal departments and agencies. Although the last major revision in 2017 introduced several changes to modernize human subject protections while reducing unnecessary regulatory burden, investigators and institutions have continued to report that the Common Rule imposes unnecessary burdens and unclear requirements, particularly for minimal-risk studies. For example, the Department has received feedback that applying the Common Rule remains cumbersome for research within Learning Healthcare Systems and for other research methods that are integrated into clinical care settings and are intended to improve the quality and safety of medical care.
Without additional changes intended to clarify ambiguities, expand flexibilities, and redirect protective measures toward high-risk activities, the rights and safety of research participants as well as scientific breakthroughs can be impeded. Examples of how this rulemaking will address these issues include expanding exemptions for certain additional types of low-risk research, incorporating flexibilities for de minimis protocol changes, and clarifying key terms such as the definition of undue influence. These reforms will reduce ambiguity and undue administr…

Joseph Kutzko was accused of punching and threatening his then-15-year-old child at the family home on Jan. 28, 2025, records from Westborough District Court show. A Southborough police detective wrote that Kutzko punched the victim in the shoulder and pulled them by their hair. Kutzko later allegedly threatened to kill the victim “for not singing in tune during a birthday celebration,” according to court records.

Kutzko was arrested the next day and pleaded not guilty.

The child’s mother, Arlene Kutzko, was charged with witness intimidation after allegedly pressuring the child to “tell the school that she was exaggerating and being stupid.”

“Arlene stated that if you solve this tomorrow everything will be okay and we will not get angry,” the detective wrote.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.
Worries about vaccination rates in dogs
As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

A trans man in the UK has been banned in the workplace restrooms after he was forced to use the women's restrooms to comply with the new EHRC guidance. The women complained because he is visibly male and so they told him he can't use any bathroom.
A screenshot of a Reddit post from the r/LegalAdviceUK subreddit by user Dijstraanon, titled "FtM transgender facing two different issues at work? England."
The post text reads:
"Brother in law is trans FtM and presents fully as a man. He's now facing an impossible situation at work with his employer telling him that due to recent legislation he must use the toilet of his birth gender. BUT several female colleagues have raised a grievance about him using their gendered toilet.
His employer has told him that he cannot use the toilet while he is at work until they sort it out and cannot give him a timeframe to do so. They do [cut off] have disabled separate toilets.
In the mean time one of his female colleagues has accused him of sexual harassment because he was used their gendered toilet. His menstrual cycle meant he needed to use the toilet.
He's been with the employer for just over 5 years but only in this location for 18 months. The location is mainly male with just a handful of females, and his workshop only has male toilets.
I do not know how to support him and as he's not in a union there is no one to turn too right now."

Every time one of these stories comes out, it's shown that the parents were actually abusive. There is an asymmetry where the parents are given a platform by Christian nationalist orgs and Fox News while the state cannot discuss any details due to privacy. So the narrative is set by the parents.

Cis people do not understand how much trans people's rights have regressed in just 5 years. 5 years ago, there were none of these restrictions. 19 states banned legal recognition 21 states have bathroom bans 8 states ban gender marker changes on DLs 25 ban gender affirming care for trans youth

I’m a Texan trans kid who almost died because of Ken Paxton. The world should know what he’s done. This was very difficult for me to write, but given what's at stake, I cannot bear to stay silent about what I went through at Paxton's hands. He must not be rewarded for what he's done to trans kids.

Regardless of Talarico’s recent statements on trans people, Paxton cannot be rewarded for the extreme suffering he’s inflicted on me and tens of thousands of Texan trans kids.

Do you really think having Ken Paxton in the Senate is going to be better for trans kids? Do you really think two more years of Trump appointed federal judges with life tenure is going to be good for trans kids? open.substack.com/pub/aridrenn...

I definitely did not envision retirement as helping start what is now a 12,000-member public health advocacy group and working daily to try to provide accurate scientific information in the face of rampant government disinformation. But here we are, and this work isn’t going to end any time soon.
