I don't post often these days, but it's Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. (I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer 3 years ago & it recurred a year ago. Thanks to chemo & Lynparza, my nodules are now "too small to measure" so I'm doing well.) If you have these symptoms, see your doctor. #cansky

My CA125 (a ovarian cancer marker) has risen 50% - whether due to disease progression or intestinal inflammation from Lynparza side effects is the big question. Until blood work and a CT scan in 2 weeks, like Schrodingers cat, I both do and do not have disease progression. Waiting sucks. #cancer

Decided (with my doctor) to decrease my dose of Lynparza due to side effects that were compromising my ability to fully enjoy my life. Of course, now I worry the dosage reduction might mean the drug's not as effective at preventing a second recurrence of my #ovariancancer. UGH! #cancersky #cancer
