My nephew died from it just about a year after the pandemic started. He'd gone into his room to sleep because he "had a bad cold". Nobody checked him for nearly three days. The thought of how alone and terrified he must've been not being able to get out of bed or call out for help just saddens me.

It's been years since we had a cat that regularly slept with us. Lately we've been waking up to find Luna snoozing between us (as depicted below). During this afternoon's nap, Bella slept between us as well (couldn't catch her at it, but I did get her napping on the floor nearby).

The inclusion of sports where "physical prowess" has no bearing is a flag that this is about people being trans as a whole, not just about trans women. Why do these sports even have separate groups? Is it that me are scared that some women might be better than some of the men?
