I made a quick, modest entry for the recent Halloween costume contest that @braceyourselfgames.com held! This one is Hephaestus in a suit of pumpkin-themed knight armor. <(￣︶￣)> #RiftOfTheNecrodancer #art #fanart

Auburn made a basic starry background with a dappled light brush, and cobbled together some labels clearly naming Heph and his costume.

A sketch page with concepts for a Hephaestus costume. It mainly features two ideas: a pumpkin-themed knight outfit on the left, and a warlock outfit on the right.
Auburn was particularly fascinated with the former, and made some adjustments during concepting, as well as scrapped ideas for a helmet and a circlet. Besides that, it features a cape resembling vines, plating of various orange, green, & gray colors, and a highly themed belt. Also, a silver sword is here - he smithed it himself.
Although Auburn wasn't as interested in the warlock idea (as she didn't have much to go off of), she did try to tinker with it as well. That one features an orange-trimmed hat akin to her own (though with a rubber dagger pinned to the tip) and a skull brooch holding a cape together. The rest of the outfit are some basic workings of a wizard look.

Namelesstober Day 1: Rift of the Necrodancer💀 My first entry for @braceyourselfgames.com Halloween Fanart Contest 💜

Today Inktober begins and to kick things off the first day of my personal list it's a Rift of the NecroDancer fanart specifically of Cadence for @braceyourselfgames Halloween contest.

I wanted to create a costume for her based on her life prior to the game's events but I also wanted to add a unique twist, so I took inspiration from Raven (Teen Titans) and imagined how she would look in the Dark World of Deltarune resulting in a guardian of spirits and tombs that uses the power of music to calm them down or defeat them.

I don't think I'll win but I really like how it turned out 💜

🧭 Stream Offline 🧭 (1/2) Building in this game has been a lot of fun! We managed to complete the house with quite a few unique details throughout. We also took on the desert dungeon! I didn't quite figure it out, but we made our own way to the end and finished the playthrough all the same. ^.^;

Auburn's completed desert house! It's a lot more modest than the other builds that she made, but it's a good outpost for desert adventuring. Like much of her other building endeavors, she made this in a very freeform fashion.

This is the last of many builds that she completed for her Allumeria 0.15 world!

The house from atop the nearby cliff, at another angle during nighttime. Some modest road lamps and the lit-up bridge surround it, but there's also plenty of essentials inside for this to be a comfortable oasis home.

Auburn's planning to take some proper pictures in the near future, and post the rest of her builds around when she can. Keep an eye out for the rest of the set!

🧭 Stream Offline 🧭 (1/2) I think that the streams keep getting longer. That probably means that I'm still having lots of fun making these things. ^.^ Two and a half more things are done, including the rest of the forest manor! We also finished in the desert caves, and did very successful fishing.

The (mostly) finished cliffside manor from the outside! Even the attic is decently large, thanks to Auburn's learned method of building rooftops.
A major centerpiece is the star-shaped observatory room at the top!

The second build tonight was a small shrine-like spawnpoint! Auburn had an idea for some kind of astral shrine in her notes, which inspired her idea for this spot. She's particularly proud of the use of forest jelly, dungeon bricks, and mint green stone blocks, among other things!
The pool in the middle is a stabilizing mechanism for the spawn pointer - anybody teleporting here won't get hurt by the fall damage quirk when teleporting to lower positions than the current one.
The angle's a little bit clumsy on the spot, but there'll be time to fix it later. ^.^;

Some basic workings of a desert home! Auburn's still figuring out the layout, but already made a bridge across the water. She picked this spot because of the bodies of water; it's a fun contrast with the desert proper.

The oasis from a high vantage point! There were two spots like this in the region, but Auburn found this one more appealing for the surrounding cliffs and stretches of oasis.
(The other one had something more like a deep lake, but not much on the surface. If Auburn wanted to make a sub-aquatic build, she would have gone for that one.)

🧭 Stream Offline 🧭 (1/2) It's in progress, but we've been doing a SERIOUS renovation of the cliffside house! Mostly minor details are left... plus getting around to coloring the roof. We also started exploring the desert, and discovered quite a few things so far! (The gameplay side goes fast!)

Auburn's first house was a mere circular cabin with a flat roof at the base of this cliff. Now that it's being properly built, it's evolving into a large manor. There's even a star-shaped observatory at the top!
(To the left is the blacksmith's house, already finished. All three of this town's houses have a path converging into a half-finished central courtyard.)

Character House is very fun. I was really impressed with how close to accurate things can already get. (๑>◡<๑) (Also, look at Loogi's creations in his bleat! They're really cute!)

Lots of Auburn's characters and herself in Character House! She finds this to be a really good way to concept characters together, so she played alongside Loogi this evening.
