fun fact: if you’re trying to send someone a bluesky post but the account has the “hide post to signed out users” setting enabled, you can replace “bsky” with “aturi” in the URL and it will bypass the gate completely bsky . app —> aturi . app @aturi.to

A new version of the @aturi.to/waypoints package is out (v0.1.4), featuring optional brand icons and support for compose intent across clients that have it. What does this mean? You can provide links that open in a user's preferred Bluesky client that will open the post composer with prefilled text.

Thanks to @aturi.to's waypoints package, it was very easy to get a list of clients to display in this popover that I now have on my website. Instead of opening the composer only in Bluesky, you can now click to write a message in an app of your choosing!

Finally was able to sit down and try this out. I had a few records floating around in my repo from testing sites that I wanted to remove. The UI of Aturi made it VERY easy to do so. Definitely something to keep bookmarked.

I’ve been enjoying having my agents wired up to my Bluesky account via MCP. I deployed my own Cloudflare worker to that end. If you only want/need unauthenticated read access, this gets you that super simply.

one of the added benefits of using @aturi.to links is they bypass the sign-in gate enforced by bluesky — you can send posts with rich previews in places like iMessage without having the content completely blocked aturi.to/profile/test...
