recently i got a glass dip pen and inks of various colors and decided to ink a sketch i had made of a character based on the pfp i have on other places(not sure why i haven't changed it here. maybe i will idk)

scan of the drawing, it's a robot with some subtle bug-like features, sitting like some sort of creature

ngl i haven't heard of a single person having a good art fight this year.just so much harassment. and people getting exclusively attacks traced from characters' own refs. and bugs being exploited to break the site as "protest" for rules not being what they want. and more stuff i haven't looked into.

imagine joining an art game's site just to have somewhere to upload art and instead of understanding that it is a game with rules and not a general-purpose art hosting site you think it is simply an art hosting site that arbitrarily decided some art is bad

[Insect] el wiwi (Don't worry, this lil fella was happily reintroduced to the foliage upon being found)

Picture of an incredibly tiny ladybird beetle with two red spots next to a human finger. Both are placed on a glossy surface upon which the reflection of a human figure is visible.

People need to stop calling them "elytras" or "an elytra". The word is already plural because the item is a PAIR of wings. Well, technically a pair of protective covers for insect wings, but you get the point.

themed month art challenges used to be "draw a thing every day" why are they "*post* a thing every day" now, with people sometimes starting months in advance :C it's not meant to be a month straight of high effort art it's a consistency challenge this isn't serious but :CCCC

"you can't steal a design" (as in a character design is not something that can be stolen and any attempt to do so is at worst simply inspired by the original and taking inspiration isn't illegal so it's perfectly fine) is a weird opinion to be so widespread in the places i keep seeing it
