The character; the inspirations. 🌱 Alfyn from Octopath Traveler 🌽 Trip Tucker from Star Trek Enterprise 💀 Mort from Mort by Terry Prachett Tell me about your #OC!

Art by @ngwlmi.at.app.wafrn.net! A full-body portrait of Burton, a non-binary human with long blonde hair, freckles, and cowboy boots. They are dressed in dark pants, a green waistcoat with a pocket watch, a white collared shirt, and a blue-gray greatcoat. They stand with an easy smile, a bit of straw in the corner of their mouth, one foot up on a crate, and a shotgun resting one shoulder.

Art of Alfyn, a character from the game Octopath Traveler, overlayed on top of pixel art of the same character. Text reads "New Traveler Alfyn is here!"

An image of Trip Tucker from Star Trek Enterprise. He's in uniform, looking at the camera, and sitting on a ladder, elbows resting on his legs.

A cover of the Mort comic by Terry Pratchett. Mort stands holding an armful of hour glasses and a scythe. Death stands behind him, arms full of candy and various trinkets, holding bunny ears behind Mort's head. Illustrated by Graham Higgins.

Astaire's tailoring is so good in Daddy Long Legs (1955). It's said that he used to dance, jump, and twirl in his tailor's fitting room to make sure the his jacket's collar never lifted off his neck. To me, he embodied American elegance.

most common reasons I work so slowly: taking care of the dog, swiftly dodging attempts on my life (family members), writing emails, trying to advertise my Kofi, beloved clients competing over who can send me the longest pdf/most ref pics. current record is 13 pages

btw this (the dog) is Frank he's part dalmatian and very mean! he's 9 years old and has epilepsy which is why my work is a bit slow sometimes. he once faked a limp for attention (he had a real limp after a seizure that healed, but he wanted to milk it for over a month)

preliminary sketch vs reference (my dog) vs final (for that time I entered BIAV's regular Morimens fanart campaign) #art #kofi #uwm.jpeg

A rough colored sketch of a dog man in a trench coat (Ryker).

The same sketch but with a picture of me holding an umbrella and a tamagotchi (for Ryker's staff and poker chips) with a picture of my dog over my face.

The final illustration, modeled after Thoth's Hierophant: Ryker surrounded by glass dice, theater masks, a slot machine, with nine nails hanging overhead.
