Now that this has been gifted I can share it😊This was a fun knit, & was kinda magical watching the variegation coalesce&swirl in the opposite direction of the knit pattern. The beanie and pompom are - to quote Dr MRO “ This gradient is a beautiful crimson red that fades elegantly into a very soft pink, before transitioning about 3/4s of the way down the skein to an orange. The orange shade flows to the end creating a deep burnt orange color. The crimson red to pink shade flows slightly longer through the yarn to help make that the more dominant shade throughout. This more closely resembles the gorgeous figure in the red and orange outfit in the manuscript image. Manuscript image not included.”
Recipient has named it their “Lesb-beanie” and they have been wearing it with Pride.

Knitting project in progress. Knitting is a burgundy and grey cowl, with a pattern of bird skulls. 🧶”We are all made of star stuff” This knit made me 😊from beginning to end. As soon as I saw @isasaxonists.bsky.social yarn that was inspired by the Sagittarius Galaxy I knew exactly what needed to be made with it. My yarn bowl by @amyraehill.bsky.social was the perfect holder for this galactic yarn.

🧶Realized I didn’t include any photos of the full length, the details don’t show as well-but it does highlight the beautiful variegation of the yarn. Bonus- my ever present helper with all arts and crafts.

🧶My 1st knitted cables! (4th scarf) The good thing about being a beginning knitter is not always reading correctly how much yarn is needed- so I have more than enough of @isasaxonists.bsky.social wonderful yarn to make a shawl with what I had left over (which is my current WIP).

I just started knitting this spring & stumbled across the pattern for Chris Evan’s Sweater from Knives Out & I could not resist the urge-it gave me the perfect excuse to order more gorgeous yarn from Republic of Yarnia. (Already have 2 working projects + 3 waiting- so definite splurge)
