#BHM Day 15: Black Pilgrims on the Road 🧶 The figure at the heart of this colorway is a Black knight shown mid-journey, riding with purpose rather than spectacle. He appears in the late-15th-cent travel account of Arnold von Harff’s travel account, a record of pilgrimage routes, 1/6 #yarnsky
Split image. Left: a skein of yarn in a silvery platinum grey with subtle undertones of pale purple and soft pink, resting on airy fiber. TL cleanse Standing out softly. This is Pastel Rainbow Haze inspired by a tapestry image of a Black Magus (and the black is inspired by Alessandro De Medici). Look at that sheen on that merino/silk yarn. 🧶 #yarnsky #yarnmarket #yarnlove #indieyarndyer
A pastel rainbow color skein in the middle flanked on each side by 2 black yarn skeins. There are dried colorful flowers and pearls scattered around the skeins

Sometimes flashy isn't necessary. Don't get me wrong, I love flashy sometimes but deep, saturated colors like this speak for themselves. I just so happened to have separate orders of Alessandro Midnight Black in several bases and weights Anyway something simple and pretty for your TLs. 🧶
Angled shot of 3 skeins of black yarn called Alessandro Midnight Black in several bases and weights (merino, merino/alpaca and merino/nylon and Aran, fingering, DK). There are pearls and dried flowers scattered
