Game design is about diagnosing player experience, having intent, and executing. I think to a lot of folks outside dev, game criticism (an art in itself) is seen as interchangeable with design. 151086193 0

A Toa's Friend ⚪🔺 @atoafriend.bsky.social · 05/06/2026this was the first part of the message I sent my boss; she knows I run a clan for d2 b/c I put that down as "teamwork and leadership" experience in my resume, so I'm like "this is the reason why you hired me and why I'm good at my job, please please please please please" 🤣 010 0
A Toa's Friend ⚪🔺 @atoafriend.bsky.social · 05/06/2026lmao I went the opposite, I was like "it's a serious personal commitment that I need to honor", I've literally put in time off requests for day 1 raids and am currently seeing if my boss is willing to give me another weekend off for gcx 100 0

A Toa's Friend ⚪🔺 @atoafriend.bsky.social · 28/05/2026the funny part is i got this job b/c i put down my d2 raiding experience as "teambuilding & leadership skills", which my manager later confirmed she hired me for. so now all my coworkers know that i'm their supervisor b/c i spent too much time running sherpas for deep stone crypt lmao 120 0

A Toa's Friend ⚪🔺 @atoafriend.bsky.social · 20/05/2026going by the premise of the character, i'd personally go with the 2nd image. it's much more discreet, and a person is less likely to walk through a bunch of stacks and think that it's all part of an AI, whereas 1st image sorta screams "WOW THIS THING MUST BE SUPER IMPORTANT". 000 0
A Toa's Friend ⚪🔺 @atoafriend.bsky.social · 20/05/2026(read the context) i think it depends on how you want to characterize the nature of the AI. 1st image centralizes its existence to a single point, while 2nd image portrays its existence as spread out across an array of machinery, and therefore less defined in the way that an "individual person" is. 100 0
