obviously a very difficult day today. june 9th is the final d2 update. i will cover it as much as i cover anything destiny, but we'll talk about post-destiny plans soon. i'm not done with content creation, but the destiny channel will go idle after the update.

i have locked the fuck back in. korea vlogs are done and scheduled. i am getting organized with destiny archival footage, like old raid races and campaigns while it's slow. i am writing deadlock content and getting gameplays chopped up. variety content is rolling again.

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

enjoyed playing marathon with the buds today, but as someone who does not enjoy the genre, not sure how much i'll play. gunplay felt good, i like the art style, but i'm interested in people's takes who actually enjoy the genre. how's it feel?

my korean language classes have ramped up dramatically this week in terms of the material and it is leaving me completely wiped by the end of the day. can barely even make korean vlog content much less other stuff rn. it is crazy how exhausting it is

i will be launching 'datto does deadlock' soon. i love this game. i'll have some new player guides getting rolled out whenever the big update comes. nice to have a real, genuine passion for a game again, i really enjoy it and i've met a bunch of people from other communities all coming together.

merry christmas/happy holidays everyone! thanks for another solid year of content and support. hoping you all get some time to chill and start off 2026 strong. got the parents visiting for a few days, so we'll get back to it next week. this is brimstone btw

my return to d2 will be on the 11th. feeling a bit more energized after my break. we'll hit the expansion pretty hard in december and then re-evaluate my schedule some time in january.

hi @traveldanielle.com today is our 5 year anniversary. something i love about you is that you're the kinda person who ok'd getting married 2 years to the day we started dating so we'd only have to remember 1 date. thanks for being there for me all these years, i love you❤️❤️❤️

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

whelp, just posted the last destiny video i had before i started my break. it is incredibly nerve wracking to have no main channel videos planned for this long. but goddamn has it been nice mentally. playing some lego party/drunk mario golf today on stream in a couple hours, should be fun!

122600

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

this past week of streaming has been one of the best weeks i've had in probably multiple years. thank you to anyone who has come and chilled at the stream. i now understand how people can stream 12 hours a day everyday: when you're actually enjoying yourself, it's no problem at all

73303

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

in case you haven't seen/heard, i'm taking a breather from destiny. i will check out the exotic mission and raid with the buds if/when they ask, but otherwise, i don't plan on playing/posting too much until near renegades. i'll still be streaming normally, just variety stuff instead.

213241

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

impressed with the epic raid tbh. we'll talk more about it and i'll post kills soon.

surprising lack of card shows in seattle, but finally got out to one today and scooped a couple things. bird trio is one of my favorite cards all time. legend cards are such a pain to find in good condition.

another destiny patch, another day of me wondering what the hell is actually working properly and what isn't. i'm really getting tired of this, man. i'm just floating away.

honestly have not been doing great these last couple of weeks. my energy is completely gone, my mood has been shit, sorry if that's come across in my content. good odds right now of taking all of oct. away from destiny. it has been terrible for my mental lately. i have no passion for it right now.

cookie video just hit over 100k! it got thrown into the algo over the past couple of days and had a big spike of viewership. always knew it had a chance out there. need to start thinking of more fun ideas for the side channel because i'm basically out.

book video is finally out. spent about 150-200 total hours on this mf so i hope for the people that i'm targeting that it's a fun watch. no sweat if you're only here for some gaming though, this is 2 hours long. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_0v...

another gcx in the books. very exhausting, especially after an intense raid race and video, but it's always great seeing the buds. looking forward to getting back into my routine though.

raid guide clocked in at 51 minutes, just doing another quick pass of it and it'll go live in a couple hours. i'm on about 9 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. i am insanely tired. thankfully, the insanity of the first week is over. first impressions/raid impressions are next.

while i don't think bungie got everything right in this expansion, the discourse has completed drained my will of everything. i do not want to participate any more. i just want to do my job and go home.

gonna be afk for this last week before the expansion, taking some time to relax, wrap some chores and going on a short trip. i'll be back the day of EoF launch and i'll be doing the whole stream in my destiny vtuber model, pretty excited for that. see you soon!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE COOLEST PERSON I KNOW: my wife, who i can't tag here for some reason. i love you very much and i am excited for the next years of our lives together. you've been doing so good with your new career path and i'm stoked to see where it goes from here. also🖕

for the first time in 6 years of doing cosplay stuff, i finally made something on my own. giving myself a 91/100 on it, helped that i followed a good tutorial though. this is for my next big side project: reacting to my first time reading gideon/harrow/nona the ninth (and reading in general)

it's been a fun couple of months playing blue prince, doom and expedition 33, but i'm getting back to the destiny grind starting tomorrow. content will pick back up & we'll have more destiny streams as we ramp up for the new expansion. had to take a little breather for myself.

71560

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 02/06/2025

just wrapped up the audio edit for the 12 year retrospective, currently clocking in around 63 minutes. i'll be working on it in small bit over the next 2-3 weeks and it'll 100% be out before the expansion. excited to get this one out to people.

you might've seen in the TWID today, but if not: i went to bungie recently to check out The Edge of Fate expansion early and i'm gonna have a bunch of content on june 3rd going over some things that i experienced when i was there. pic unrelated.

12 years and counting. thanks for letting me have a career doing this, it's been fun. looking forward to new projects, i think i'm really starting to come into my own with the bigger, non-destiny projects i've been working.

Datto @hellodatto.bsky.social · 14/05/2025

really dunno what's going on with bungie's vision for rite of the nine dungeon releases. if it was like a pantheon type thing, i'd understand, but dude, just release 1 dungeon per week for 3 weeks, then open up whatever quests you wanna open and let people run wild. why be difficult about it?

took april pretty easy because i knew people were checked out on destiny and that may was gonna be REALLY intense. i wrote a LOT in april though: one of these is the 12 year retrospective video and one of these is a non-destiny video for HD, both not done yet. the nuzlocke was 16k words. if you're wondering where the videos are recently, allow me to show some insight. copyright trolls have been making my life quite annoying recently, claiming songs they do not own. one of these is a song from the red war campaign. progress is slow unfortunately, but it is progress.

just dumped 9 hours into blue prince. it took a little bit of time for a couple of things to click into place, but as soon as they did, i was hooked in. definitely worth checking out if you're into puzzle games (with roguelite elements too). big outer wilds vibes.
