I’m so sad to share that I was affected by these layoffs, and will no longer be with my beloved Dual Wield Studio as of the end of this month. I can’t describe how good they’ve been to me; more than an employer, they’ve been my friends.

dawg i just realized with destiny end of service that means no more in studio merch this is such an actual loss, bungie has consistently had some pretty decent merch that didn't want to make me yell

fall guys warlock plush. yes this gets put here because the construction on this is like, kinda insanely detailed? it was absolutely worth the og price bc ppl very clearly dont know how much a plush like this costs lolllllll

the palladium collabs went crazy ngl, like bungie had consistently gotten some really good collabs. like the chrome industries bags go soooo crazy like whoever was in charge of getting these collabs you are so good at your job

deck of whispers tarot deck. very cool deck def grab this if you have to buy something from the store

the raid root of nightmares raid jacket. mannnnnnnnnn these were soooo good i cant believe they laid off the guy in charge of the jackets

Jupiter in Extended Spectrum - From Judy Schmidt (geckzilla.bsky.social) - flic.kr/p/NG35Cn

I'm torturing Jupiter again with strange filter combinations. This one combines near-infrared, visible green, and near-ultraviolet light. Shorter wavelengths are scattered along the equatorial regions, appearing as a ghostly blue glow. Longer wavelengths are more prominent at the poles, causing them to glow red. I remain unsure if this is scattering or emission, though I am leaning towards atmospheric scattering. A more familiar example is our planet Earth, which itself can appear slightly blue at its limb.

The Great Red Spot appears intensely red as it was relatively dark in both visible and near-uv wavelengths. Ahead of the GRS, nearly centered on the southern hemisphere, is Red Spot Junior.

Io appears at the upper right as a fiercely glowing red dot. Io is much brighter than Jupiter itself at this particular band of near-infrared, and it was bright enough this time to have saturated (turned 100% white) the sensor, destroying some details.

This image represents Jupiter as it appeared on 2017 Feb 02 at 03:00:20 UTC.

Observations from the following proposal were used to create this image:

Red: WFC3 UVIS FQ889N
Green: WFC3 UVIS F502N
Blue-Cyan: WFC3 UVIS F275W

Saying one of the most prolific live service titles “fell short of expectations” in a massive layoff announcement is a slap in the face to every dev and every player who knows how much Destiny meant in an industry where longevity is rare. Whose expectations did it fail? The investors? The execs?

I've been affected by the layoffs sweeping across Bungie. I have a lot of feelings about how things went down, but mainly I'm grateful for the talented people I've worked with closely. Grateful to have had this opportunity as my first industry job. You may be seeing me more often from now on. 🖤

you cant do this to me bungie, ive been keeping it together pretty well since the news, but man this is really getting to me theres just so much good heart breaking touching lore....man

Osiris leaned back on his chaise lounge while Saint-14's Ghost hovered over the end table behind him.

"Where was I?" the former Warlock inquired.

"…I lived for knowledge alone," Geppetto prompted. She flashed her iris red, then green. She was recording.

"Ah, yes. In those days, I thought an unlimited lifespan would allow me to unravel the mysteries of the universe. Illuminate even the Darkness."

"And all those centuries, I thought I knew my own heart," he continued. "But, in retrospect, my devotion was always in competition with the unknown. Now, my dearest Saint, I'm ashamed to admit that I loved you with only half my heart."

Osiris's voice quieted. "It wasn't until Sagira's death, and the remaking of my own mortality, that I realized the difference between knowledge and wisdom."

"Now, stripped of my Light, deprived of the health and vigor I once took for granted, I've come to learn that the only mystery that ever truly mattered was you. What you were thinking and feeling. And the depth of emotion we shared."

"I once tore apart the very fabric of time because I couldn't abide a reality without you in it. I'd rather live one short life together than an eternity apart. And with the little time I have left—"

"THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE DRINK YOU LIKE," Saint shouted down the hallway, slamming the door behind him. "So I got one of everything."

Saint rounded the corner with a sack of groceries in hand and stopped short. "What's happening here? Thrilling Geppetto with more of your memoirs?" he teased.

"Nothing important, now that you're here," Osiris replied. "Come. Pour us some libations and tell me about your day."

my resume showing i put my own o-14 art on there and they just let me do that
