Was polishing up my Skyrim houses today. My friends like to give me grief about my decorating choices, but honestly, there's nothing more me than a stack of cheese as a centrepiece... in every house I own. I am the cheese boy.

"They turned to Jackson just then, nodding once and and disappearing into the same darkness they appeared out of. A soft wind trailed behind, gently caressing the last human to care enough to say goodbye." Excerpt from Liminal Space in @vociviamagazine.bsky.social Chronos issue 2 (2022)

See the skull over there on the forest floor? To you, it represents death, but to the tiny creature who has found it (and who now calls it home) it represents a chance at life. #vss365

The light of day held no candle to the soft glow of the night. In the soft edges of darkness, there were no loud sounds, no sensory hurts. It was healing, calm, peaceful. The only monsters there were the kids who stayed up to stare at the sky, holding hands in the dark, willing time to wait a while.

That's half-way from bookplates for every campaign print copy to a swag bag for every backer. And if someone wants to upgrade ALL the print books to hardcover, it would push us almost right there!

Someone told me that this app may seem very empty because of this default setting that requires replies to have 2 likes or more before they show up. Indeed! I changed it so that all replies show up, and suddenly the place seems much more lively. I highly recommend changing it in your settings.

If you got an acceptance, share it. If you were paid for your writing, share that news & thank the publication. If you were published in print, share the link to buy the issue. If you buy small press books & indie lit magazines, share photos of all that. Word of mouth is HUGE and VITAL!

It's not often I'm simpatico with a fucking church sign, but this one... Yeah. I'm down with this Grace Methodist Church.
Sign outside a Grace Methodist Church: "8 MEN HAVE AS MUCH WEALTH AS 3.6 BILLION PEOPLE, BUT SURE, THE SINGLE MOM ON FOOD STAMPS IS THE PROBLEM." I'm not big on churches, but this sign, I'll co-sign.

A million things can’t be ignored, like weeds. Like cracked concrete. Nothing to be done about it, except growing dandelions. I don’t mind. I don’t give up on a million things. I like the way your voice down the line still has a smile in it. #poetry

I like that this website does a bad job of showing the original tweet that's being replied to so your timeline just fills up with weird little snippets like "oh great, let's make babies even bigger" or "what about dog owners who need to use the bus?"
