1/ COVER REVEAL 🧵 I'm thrilled to share the US and UK covers for SLEUTH-HOUND: THE CASE OF THE REAL SHERLOCK HOLMES, the untold story of Dr. Joseph Bell—the Victorian surgeon who inspired Arthur Conan Doyle to create the world's greatest detective. Pre-order here: shorturl.at/fdGnV
1)	The US and UK covers side by side. The US cover (left) features a striking image of Bell, and has a silhouette of Holmes. The font is very ornate, and it looks very “Sherlockian.” The UK cover (right) is striking in its reds, blacks, and whites. It features a silhouette of a poison bottle, and has fingerprints all over the cover.

Franklin was no victim in how the DNA double helix was solved. An overlooked letter and an unpublished news article, both written in 1953, reveal that she was an equal player.

This is a very good essay, & touches on one of the most important convergences between tech-utopianism & fascism, namely the pursuit of homogeneity. Homogeneity in literature dulls the mind & sharpens the fear by which people become stupid & obedient. Homogeneity is a gateway to fascism.

But women are too emotional to lead…
A high-stakes scene inside the White House Situation Room, featuring senior U.S. government officials intensely focused on a mission's live feed. Seated at the table from left to right are Joe Biden (in a light blue shirt), Barack Obama (wearing a dark jacket over a white shirt, leaning forward), a U.S. Air Force officer in full dress uniform operating a laptop, and Hillary Clinton (wearing a beige patterned blazer with a black top underneath, hand over mouth, visibly tense). Robert Gates, wearing a white shirt and red patterned tie, is seated in the foreground. Several open laptops and documents are scattered across the conference table, one image digitally pixelated for privacy. Standing behind and around them are other key officials, including military leaders and presidential aides, all watching intently. The mood is somber and focused, indicative of a critical national security event.
