thought about the aster/aerith comparison a little too long and hurt myself by thinking about if he had to, he'd do the same thing she did. if it meant keeping everyone safe, he would. them being shards means he likely *has* in other worlds.

The combat is fun and engaging to be sure, but a LOT of the aspect and appeal of the game is in the building. There's entire chains built around the characters who help grow your homestead, even!

here's some quick images i was able to find - i've built stuff like this and people have built full-on castles, fortresses and entire mountaintop villages.

if i might throw unlikely contenders in the ring. enshrouded & valheim have some of the best house-building elements I've ever seen in any games. enshrouded ESPECIALLY. and you can enable "creative mode" with mods or with cheat engine for that one. the 1.0 for enshrouded is coming out in 2 days!

aster's carrd has been redone visually for evercold and onward. it draws on the inspirations from the roya (wuwa) and sun/star themes i've wanted to incorporate for his carrd for ages. :)

Let us end this Indigenous People’s Day with a picture of an indigenous man in Chiapas knocking over a statue of Spanish conquistador Diego de Mazariegos on the 500th anniversary of Columbus arriving in the Americas.

in the future, for anyone trying to make a community space for roleplayers, maybe make sure your stance on shit isn't so shaky and wishy-washy. when people use fascist imagery for Very Obvious Things, maybe take a proper stand & remove it. was very excited for rphub. won't make that mistake again.

bye-bye, rphub. you can find my lore on carrd and ellipsus. quite frankly i don't like how RPhub's moderation team has treated my friends let alone the community at large, and that 'need to take their meds' comment really soured me. especially knowing they got a wrist-slap and nothing else. 👋

ok i'm actually up and awake now. can anyone explain to me what is happening with RPhub fairly briefly? i don't want a long and extensive thread. i want short and concise.

This indigenous people's day, remember that indigenous folk are people with ongoing cultures and socio-political identities and struggles.v We're here and now and genocide is an ongoing project. Take this time to learn whose lands you're on and the struggles they're currently facing.

the absolute love for life and sense of freedom of skyward sword's zelda. the burden of duty and the expectations placed upon the shoulders of twilight princess zelda. the hand that breaks fate and transcends it like ocarina of time zelda. and the ancestral weight of the world that botw zelda has.

the legend of zelda (in its entirety but ESPECIALLY princess zelda and the music of the series) is incredibly formative to aster's creation and inception.
