I really like Marathon as it is now, but I have to admit that the gear fear never totally goes away - at least as a solo player who hasn't even done a crew fill trios match. It's gotten a lot better as I've become a better and more knowledgeable player, but it still sucks to lose good stuff.

If Bungie is unable or unwilling to return the seasonal content for D2 as part of this great unvaulting, I think they should at the very least add the cutscenes for each season to the in-game timeline of events tab. Not having to go to YouTube for those would be ideal for catching people up easily.

Marathon is so good guys. I ran into a guy during solos on Dire Marsh yesterday who started chatting with me, and we decided on the spot to go fight the Scorch Warden that somebody had triggered, and then just wandered around for the match chatting. Such a cool community.

I wish Apple would make a stemless version of the AirPods Pro, because I really like my pair but my ear lobes push against the stems and make it so they don't stay in my ears. I know there are other options out there, but for max compatibility earbuds, my only other real choices are Beats.

Bummer that the big update got delayed, but I'd rather it get pushed back and get mega polished so it can be the absolute best it can be to attract more players. That social space and permanent pve mode are going to get a lot of eyes on the game, and they need to launch perfectly for this to survive

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed that I was seemingly right to be so skeptical of Wolverine. I finished Spider-Man 2 earlier this year and was so incredibly disappointed with it that it made me wary of what comes next. And I loved the first game so much that I platinumed it literally in 3 days.

Remember when Bungie changed the name of the TWAB to the TWID because they were like "Well we'll have separate blog posts for Destiny and Marathon, so the name has to change!" and then they didn't do that but we were still stuck calling them TWIDs for like 2 years

I'm really a big fan of how Expedition 33 laid varying levels of obvious breadcrumbs for you to follow and feel very clever about, but beating the game makes you realize it was also so incredibly sneakily telling you the twists/reveals the entire time - you just didn't know enough to catch on
