the new "carousel" feature is an interesting way to make users gently tug at images- though I'm not sure why that's behaviour bsky's trying to encourage. Fortunately sometimes you can tell an image is in a carousel because they'll all be jittering sickeningly like the jpgs are full of angry ants

for most purposes it's all I'm really interested in using anymore. I've been teaching it too and it's really enjoyable and funny how many basic ideas have the same answer. it makes a lot of simpler software feel scattershot and paraphernaliated
