Increasingly, I have seen folks who released music through GameChops distance themselves from the label and express a desire to re-distro outside of it. But there's a cost involved in that which many musicians may not be able to cover. So, fuck it, let me put my money where my mouth is.

white text on black background that reads "music re-distribution financial relief fund. since just because a label done borked up that doesn't mean your music should disappear."

white text on black background that reads "what this is: an offer to provide financial aid to help cover the costs involved in re-distribution of tracks outside a label. even if every track is only five bucks to put a track through distro independently, that adds up after an album or so. i'm putting my money where my mouth is and seeding this with $250 to start. if you would like to add to that, my DMs are open - let's chat."

white and other light colored text on black background that reads "what this is not: anything beyond financial aid. I cannot help you clear licensing. I cannot help you secure proper licenses if you need something beyond a basic compulsory mechanical license. I cannot help you re-mix or re-master a track (though I can put you in touch with people who can). I cannot help you get out of any contracts you may have had with a label as far as who owns what."

white text on black background that reads "your music matters. Let's not let label ownership tomfoolery fuck it up. DMs are open."

Hey, not sure what this is in reference to! I haven't received any messages to ghost, and I don't post online much. I don't think my pointing out that this was poor taste is considered "ridiculing" and I haven't mentioned you in this post, or anywhere at all. Let me know if I can clear anything up.

We don't need to shit post like this. Why is hypothetically donating to women a punchline? Why is riffing on women who like "trendy" things a punchline? Idk I think we can do better.

Truly shattered to hear that we have lost Tim Curry as well. I'm at a loss for words so I will simply share these stills from two films that had a tremendous impact on me. Truly a one of a kind guy.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

There's no eulogy I can give that would fully encapsulate everything Dolly Parton was and stood for. Absolutely heartbreaking loss. Do a little bit of good every day, for yourself and for Dolly. 🩷

Maybe I have a different viewpoint as a Greek person who has read and studied Mythology and tragedies and dramas but I wish folks weren't afraid of not understanding something and were more eager to learn from their peers

I get a little sad every time someone posts about how the final boss of Endwalker, and thus, the final boss of the initial 10 year story of FFXIV, "is a bird and that shcks" because it feels reductive of what the Final Boss actually is. I think it diminishes a lot of written subtext and narrative...

Destiny 2 was a critically important game to me. I improved as an artist and storyteller. I explored worlds, characters, raids, dungeons with my dearest friends. My guardian, Yaeva, and their relationship with Eris Morn will always be a part of me. Eyes up, Guardian. And thank you.

This is a 15cm cotton doll, pattern by PiyoPicco. I made the ears custom for her. Not pictured is an embroidered scar on her torso. This first version doesn't have a skeleton (or proper full stuffing) but I plan to make a 20cm version soon!
