This is another one rescued from a nearly dead plant, very happy now but…possibly reverted?! ☹️ I’ll wait a while and see if the top leaves show some color though maybe it just hasn’t burned in yet I always manage to bring these back from the brink but can’t keep them alive

This is a first seed batch release hybrid variegated anthurium I was so so so so SO fortunate to be given. She is a fancy lady. If I kill it, I may spontaneously combust with grief. I love her so fuckin much that she deserves her own name but I have not decided yet Sorry I lost alt text momentum

this is some sort of anthurium red crystal / Lux hybrid but a NOID I brought it back from a bare stem and now it has one sexy leaf and a second growth point!

A lux anthurium hybrid, a heart shaped green leaf that sort of reflects silvery. It has a lot of bumps kinda like abs which is a signature Lux anthurium characteristic

Speaking of #MonsteraMonday look at this guy! this is a monstera thai constellation that I got myself for Christmas at Logee's in Danielson, CT I didn't even realize she has a new leaf on the way! Thank goodness there's a tiny patch of green at the tip. if it's all white it'll probably just melt

Phase 4.5 - We have water! I re-use these 4 gallon jugs with the filtered water we have on a specific tap in the house. I add 1/8th strength fertilizer to the water and use that for all my watering and it works great. This USB-C charging sprayer is a game changer, even if you like to bottom water.

Phase 4 - We have fans (2) and automation for the lights! trying to figure out the humidity balance but now that I have fans going it'll just take some time and trial/error before I get it right. Right now we're fluctuating wildly between 50 and 90% but opening the tent a lot which isn't ideal 😬

Kept the actual machine outside the tent to save room. Used plastic wrap and white duct tape to seal two tubes together and it's working great. It's a warm air mist too so should help the temp in the tent Currently 45% room air outside the tent and now 80% inside the tent, mwahahaha #WTFucculent

Phase 3 - Cooking with steam! Well, it's vapor. I piped in the humidifier, added a few more lights on bottom shelves. I had all of these supplies already, too. I did have to buy a couple fans and get some more cross support bars, though. Can't wait to start moving in plants! Yay Autistic Joy!

So, I saw the used grow tent, knew I had to snag it, luckily had the shelves already, I have the lights I need - hooray! that guy didn't believe me about breeding anthurium but it's true look at all these lil guys! I can't pot all of 15 of them & cram 'em in those cabinets! they need room to grow!

right now all my plants are behind me in my office but they're too crowded, and rooting into each other I love it as a Telehealth backdrop, but the big plants need to move out of there (hello RBF it's nice to see you but that was a good hair day)

The frame was super easy to put together but because I got it second hand the tent was crumpled, it took me forever to figure out how to orient it to the frame. All the zips were completely undone and it was a tangled mess. So, I just zipped them all up, figured out which way the box goes, & unzip

I have totally gone off the rails I put a 10 x 5 x 6'7" grow tent in my dining room to have more room for my tropical houseplant collection & try to breed some of my anthuriums I can't wait to do my first cross pollination hybrid, what will it be? 🥰 I LIKE PLANTS A NORMAL AMOUNT 😅 #WTFucculent
