I remember being in high school when the states did this. It was a rare instance of the US government doing something good. I even felt inspired. I remember thinking that the US was heading in a positive direction. It's a bittersweet memory, because we were only a decade away from mask-off fascism.

I've never seen you lie or break a promise, and I would trust you if the need arose. That being said, "I have liar energy or I am surrounded by low trust people" is a false dichotomy. The truth is likely some third thing, especially because the issue has to do with perception and communication.

AI's a tricky thing. It's useful in some places (in particular I'm thinking of diagnostic imaging such as quickly analyzing 1000s of PAP scans to search for tumors/abnormalities) but our world and global economy is structured so that's it's largely being used in destructive and horrible ways.

#OttawaPride was great! I'm proud to be part of a community that values human rights even when they are for people living far away. The lands of Israel and Palestine should become one country perhaps called "Integrated Palestine”. Then the UN should *force* desegregation of the citizens.

Yeah, I love the gameplay and exploration in the SoulsBorn games but the story leaves me completely unengaged. I care about plot and character. Lore and mystery are like icing and sprinkles. Use them sparingly to enhance the cake, but don't forget there actually is supposed to be a cake under there!
