Made lots of progress painting my dice box/altar/miniature park and designing little set pieces for it yesterday! I hope to start painting again when the air dry clay is dry all the way through. Gonna paint me a tree stump and a bush! (I know the back panel doesn't look that good, I don't mind❤️)

I don't think I understand the new 40k Space Marine doctrine rules. It says you can only use one per game, but then it says certain units always have them active, and captains can use them at will? I don't understand the qualifiers or restrictions here. www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articl...

I have decided I'm done watching ST: Voyager. Two seasons in and I don't think there's been a single memorable episode, or one that even really compares to TNG or DS9's middling episodes

Watching the Star Trek Voyager episode Tattoo and shit is so crazy. It feels so insanely disrespectful. Maybe I'm off base and an Indigenous person can tell me "this is awesome actually" and I'll chill out but until then, oh my god.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

Hey. This is a great panel from the latest issue of X-Men.

A panel from Marvel's X-Men (2024) #36
Cyclops: I saw a future where the X-Virus was loosed. I fought my way across a mutant nation built on the bones of the murdered. It makes no difference to me if it's 3K doing it this time, rather than Revelation: We are not humans. We will not gain our homeland at the cost of a genocide.

I am trying to be more social and interactive recently. Like trying to message friends more and comment on things that I enjoy, which feels nice. But then sometimes it sucks when friends don't reciprocate. Like maybe I'm being too much by accident. Or maybe they're conditioned to expect less from me

I love Patsy Cline but her song 'Walking After Midnight' is incredibly selfish and narcissistic. Shes having trouble with her boyfriend, sees a Weeping Willow crying into his pillow, and just assumes that maybe he's crying about her problems? She didn't even stop to ask the guy what was wrong

Made fucking excellent progress on the zine today. FINISHED the main article. That's two done. Now I just need to figure out what I'm doing for art and that'll be zine #1 finished. I think I'm going to transfer article #2 over to the second issue and make it more of a collection of smaller articles

Got to working on one of my 40k zines today! I think I decided I'm going to do all the art on my own, which is pretty daunting. I'm not really an artist. I think it'll mostly be sketchy lineart with liberal use of photobash tracing. Maybe I'll reconsider when I start lol

Watching Star Trek: Voyager, what's the general consensus on Voyagers treatment of indigenous culture? In the first few episodes it just seems kinda racist, but it feels like tonnes of people love this show so maybe it becomes more culturally appreciative? Idk
