finally sketched the Complicated Twink Cat (right), here vaguely holding the Main Character Cat to establish some sort of Connection sadly my physical media drawing skills are ass (well, my drawing skills are ass, but digital media has an undo button) so a Decent sketch is still forthcoming

a very crudely drawn and colourised sketch of two loosely embracing anthropomorphic animals (they are supposed to be cats but I messed the faces up). the taller one on the right has long flowing red hair and orangey peachy fur, with a white top and shorts snd red trainers, and is standing straight and looking confidently onwards. to his left is a shorter blue furred catlike being with messy dark blue hair, and wearing a baggy black long-sleeve t-shirt and pants, bent forward slightly (i was intending to make them bend into the chest of the other guy but slightly messed it up). It vaguely gets the idea across though: the character on the right is assertive in this moment, the one on the left is kind of in need of emotional support.

this thing FINALLY has an online tilemap editor it's janky as all balls and really not very comfy to use yet, but it's better than a text editor

A screenshot of my game creation system project, HyperZoo, open at the tile-map editor. The screenshot shows a game state currently frozen in time with two dialogs open on top of it. One of them allows you to select a type of tile - floor, wall, roof, and whether it's a special tile like a breakable wall or a sensor floor. The other lets you see what's currently selected, and pick a character out of the 256 characters available for each tile, and a colour mix of two out of 16 colours to apply to it. A cursor on the map hovers over some leaves on the ground showing that they have been recently placed. There are clearly some places that need user experience improvement, for example there are two sets of save and load icons, and the thing that tells you what kind of tile you're about to put down is very hard to see.
