The new ones along my walk yesterday, along the Maribyrnong River trail were very high tech and didn’t look like toilets at all. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pics! Next time, so I can add to your collection 😁

These, on South Melbourne beach promenade, are more artistic looking.
Round building with sale roof, the sand and sea can be seen in the background.
The toilets are cubical but the round water tanks on either side give a better profile than just a toilet block.

My mum loved to put flowers in my hair on the festival days - about twice a year. The teachers insisted I take them off!

Yes, long pants and/or gaiters are a must. Was a warm day yesterday and today, so snakes could be out.

A long walk, ~14km along the Maribyrnong river today. Following along the loop of the river - it’s so soothing. I love taking photos of the city, and remembering when it used to be only a few tall buildings . Look at it now!! #Melbourne

Totally with you there! One intersection near RMIT, the cars zoom through even when it’s clearly green for pedestrians! Walkers have to watch out!

I know. Same in academia. There is also the increasing trend to outsource all grammar to LLMs! Those things only think of next possible word, almost never the sentence as a whole!

The current government did increase the penalty for failure to protect data. It’s at least 50M now, but may be much bigger. But, as always , more can be done to protect our data. www.oaic.gov.au/about-the-OA...

Data retention past necessity needs to be punished. It is just not acceptable . During the Optus breach my details were lost - it had been 10 years then since I had been an Optus customer.

Did a walk in the You Yangs yesterday. The boneseed weed has really taken over - the pretty yellow flowers competing with the yelloe of the fields of ripening canola at the base of the hills.
