Overnight, Trump posted that he would bomb Oman if they didn't let him run the Strait of Hormuz. It's as if he's trying to dare Arab countries to close US bases and reject US military use of facilities. While he has the ability, I don't think Trump has the credibility left to dictate terms.

Watching the news from the NATO meetings in Turkey. I really hope the EU rebuilds their defense industry to the point of locking out US weapons manufacturers. It was a smart move to block US software from govt. A NATO alliance free from US bullying would be good. But it will leave the US weaker.
