Broadly yes! True weevils are in the family Curculionidae, while this species is in the family Cimberidae (=Nemonychidae), which is one of the more basal lineages in the weevil superfamily

picked some cute microwasps out of a sample at work today. mostly eupelmids, plus a eulophid, an encyrtid, and one of those things that used to be a pteromalid but got split off into their own family in the 2022 Hell's Heart paper, cleomyid now I think
