Now I know why I haven’t been seeing much tweets lately! All my lovely peeps are here posting skeets after all!

I wonder how many of my friends from the Bird app even recognize me here, for I have a different profile picture on both of these apps.

Hey, lovelies! I guess the 100th post (that too in less than the first 24 hours) calls for an introduction! I’m a Physician/Doctor, Student Researcher, and ex-Web-Developer, currently residing in New Delhi, India.

Trying out @graysky.app by @mozzius.dev - looks snappy so far! Love the fact that skeets can be posted from anywhere within the app. I’d love to see the collapsible ‘post skeet’ option retain the drafted skeet - so one can work on a it while reviewing other skeets - something even Twitter lacks!

I can't believe my last post on BlueSky was 15 days ago! I guess I've been more active on the Bird app since the floodgates opened here - so what did I miss?

Trying out @skyline.gay by @louis02x.com. It allows for custom algorithms and lists! It also allows for sharing your algorithms & lists and I can see it developing into a marketplace in the near future. The match/relevance percentage feature is also kinda neat.

A screenshot of a custom Skyline showing match/relevance percentage next to the skeets.

Took myself out on a date yesterday, and one of the highlights of the day was Prawn Tempura prepared by the insanely talented - Chef Yutaka Saito. Perfectly crisp on the outside yet incredibly soft & juicy on the inside - with the textures magically transitioning into one another.

Let's show some of our appreciation to @rose.bsky.team, who is having a field day today at Twitter - having to elaborate old Terms of Service to skeptical users. Their skepticism is understandable for how questionable other platforms have been in the past, but they need to realize this is different.

The energy difference between the new users and us OGs is quite apparent. I remember when I first joined BlueSky, I posted like 100 posts in the first 24 hours or so! Now I‘m watching these new users do the same - while we OGs are being laidback, taking our time, and posting in a relaxed manner!

Just because we've acknowledged the past - doesn't mean it hurts any less. Time helps, but only to a certain extent. Sometimes, the void that's formed in the process stays forever. Certain yearly anniversaries can be hard. Today is one such day for me. Listening to ‘Dammit’ by Keaton Henson.
