Not quite ready for Xmas music, listening to spiritual music nonetheless. Mary Lou Williams - Live at The Cookery. A piano bass duo recorded in 1975 (beautiful piano tone throughout). Haven’t found a Williams album that I don’t love.
Album cover on top of stereo. On the cover is a stylized drawing of a black woman from the shoulders up as if in stained glass. The words “Mary Lou Williams are above in yellow curly font, and “Live at the Cookery is in smaller text to the right of the woman’s head.

I’ve ended up trying to “master” the mixes I’ve got for my project so far. Using a little eq as I mix, and then using light compression and limiting on the final step has made something that sounds good to my ears, loud yet keeping the dynamics and feel of what I’ve mixed.
