I’m stalling out. I have music in progress, but none of it feels like it matters. I make it alone, for audiences I rarely interact with, having no sense of purpose to any of it. I don’t know what to do about any of that. I’m disconnected and floating adrift, further away from everything.

I never expected to get rich and famous off my music, but when I was younger I certainly didn’t see coming a world where society largely decided music has no intrinsic value and should only come from people who can afford to make music without receiving any income back from music.

Every now and then (it’s… kind of often now) my body and mind do unpleasant things that leave me wondering, did I almost die last night? Doctors can’t come up with anything more helpful than “I bet your sleep sucks.” Maybe they’re right. Can’t schedule a sleep study sooner than six months away.

absolutely beautiful album. i'm not sure what more i can really say, or explain. i think it needs to be heard. stay alive. Favorite track: Warm and Near.

June has come such a long way since I first heard her stuff (way back on Beware!). This album is a departure from the genre of her previous releases, but shows off all of her strengths that she's built up over the years. It's gorgeous and honest music. Wonderful as expected. <3 Favorite track: Halo.

In a time where I felt increasingly isolated and guarded, I turned to music as a form of therapy. Framemaker holds a special place among these as a catalyst that helped me re-evaluate myself and my past, and without it I wouldnt've ever considered myself worth the effort to heal. Favorite track: Warm and Near.

Having grown up with extended family in Tennessee, memories of Dolly Parton's name, face, and voice are as old for me as the earliest memories of my own parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. I never met her, have no relation to her, but seeing her pass has the feel of losing a family member.

For 5 years, I was in a position to offer a freelance furry artist steady work on the order of $1500-$2000 per month. I tested the waters getting commissions from artists whose work might fit my projects. Average promised turn-around was 30 days. Average actual turn around... 1.5 years to NEVER.

Every now and then I look around the Seattle area for a space that has private, sound-isolated practice booths to rent, and there's nothing. It's all studio spaces kitted out in recording gear and charging either monthly rent or high hourly rates, and none of it is even what I actually need.
