@FourT4 5 hours? Did you cycle 5 hours on your #BikeCommute? Wow! I hope it's downhill going home. As for battery powered gear shifters, I have rim brakes; cables all visible on the outside of the frame; and mudguards. My gears ARE indexed but that's about as hi-tec as my bikes get. 😄

We're a small charity with no employees and heavily reliant on the goodwill of volunteers to do anything. I'm hesitant to do anything that scares people away from the committee but I think I can solve that problem by doing all the boring stuff myself! :-)

My scratched glasses are covered by the accidental damage insurance so I'll be getting new lenses. 🙂 I thought they might just replace the scratched lens but they do both, apparently. This means I'm now wearing my re-glued old pair. I've also bought a new tube of superglue. 😄 #GoodNews

I filled the slow cooker last night and set it come on at 5:30, so I woke to the gentle aroma of sweet potato and lentil soup. It's an unusual smell to encounter in the early morning but not unpleasant and I'm already looking forward to my lunch. No dithering about what to have. 😋
